The kinds of problems I solve, and what AI can and cannot do for a small business today.
What kinds of problems do you solve?
The ones that eat an owner's week: phones that never stop ringing, calls missed after hours, chasing people for documents or payments, apps that do not talk to each other, quotes and follow-ups that go out late, and paperwork that piles up. Each industry page on this site lists the headaches owners in that trade tell me about.
What does a custom solution actually mean?
It means I build around how your business already works instead of handing you a generic package. I work out what it actually takes for your setup, and then I build that.
What can AI actually do for my business today?
Answer and route your phone 24/7. Book appointments. Chase unpaid invoices politely. Draft quotes from a voice note. Reply to reviews. Summarize a long email thread. Turn your notes into a proposal. Sort inbound leads by how serious they are. Those are real, cheap, and work in a business of any size right now.
What does AI do badly, or not yet?
I will tell you which and why, so nobody sells it to you next month. Part of scoping your solution is being straight about what AI handles well today, what it handles badly, and what you should not hand to it at all.
How do I use AI in my business?
Start with the task you repeat most and hate most. For most owners that is answering the phone, following up with leads, or writing the same kind of email, quote or review reply over and over. Put AI on one of those first, measure it for a month, then take the next one. Do not start with a strategy document.
How do I implement AI in my business without a tech person?
The same way you implemented a credit card reader: you pick the one thing, and someone builds it into how you already work. That last part is the whole job, and it is what the free 15 minute conversation is for. You do not need a developer. You need someone who understands your business.
What is the best AI for small business?
There is not one. The best AI for an accountant is different from the best AI for a roofer. Anyone who names a single tool before understanding your business is selling that tool. The right answer is usually two or three specific things wired together into a custom solution, and the industry pages on this site say which for your trade.
Do I need an AI consultant, or can I just use ChatGPT?
You can use ChatGPT today and you should. The gap a consultant fills is knowing which of your fifty daily tasks it should touch, how to connect it to your phone, calendar and invoices, and what not to trust it with. If you already know that, you do not need me.
How does AI help a business make more money?
Mostly by not losing the money you are already losing: the missed call that was a job, the quote that took four days, the lead nobody followed up, the review nobody answered. Recapturing those is faster and more certain than any growth hack.
